Forward Momentum
Sunday went to business. Bling, Louis, and a long list of things to decide. It felt like the right day to push ahead, so we did, in our own fashion.
I'm learning not everyone moves through decisions the way I do, fast, committed, unafraid of being wrong later. I think the speed unsettles some people. Committing to an idea can feel like signing something permanent. To me, they've never been final destinations, only moments meant to keep things moving. And when a deadline is closing in the way ours is, momentum matters more than certainty.
The day ran long, and by the time I made it back to the quiet of my room, I was glad to be alone. A few hours went into a private project of my own, the afternoon drifting past with almost no friction at all. Just a man and his words, enjoying whatever peace a Sunday still had left to offer. Nothing to prove. Little that needed achieving.
As night came in, I climbed into bed early, read until my eyes gave out, and drifted off already turning over what the week ahead might bring.
